Regina Residents Win Prizes in the Lung Association's

Regina, April 30 “ Three Regina residents are the winners of valuable original or edition artworks donated by Saskatchewan artists Joe Fafard, Donna Kriekle, and Bob Boyer.  The original or edition art showcased in the campaign included a bronze bust created by Joe Fafard, a watercolor by Donna Kriekle, and a chalk pastel by Bob Boyer.

 

Mrs. Joyce Crippin is the winner of the art contributed by Joe Fafard .    Mrs. Crippin was extremely pleased to have won a piece of art by internationally acclaimed artist Joe Fafard.  When asked why she supports the Lung Association, Mrs. Crippin responded, my late husband suffered from emphysema and I support the work of the Lung Association.  Regina resident Dean Mitchell is the winner of Donna Kriekle's Awakening and Glen Hendry won Bob Boyer's Standing Bellowing Elk I understand You Now.

This is the third year that the Lung Association has hosted the ArtWorks for Lung Health campaign.  The draw is limited to supporters of the Lung Association and it is an opportunity for the Lung Association to thank the many people who have given to the Lung Association by inviting them to participate in a draw for three spectacular pieces of art.  No donation or payment of any kind was necessary to participate unless an individual had not made a donation to the Lung Association and they wanted to be included in the draw.  The ArtWorks for Lung Health Draw took place at the offices of the Lung Association of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon on April 28^th.
