A Breath of Spring!

Saskatoon, January 20, 2005- The Lung Association of Saskatchewan is pleased to announce that its seventh annual Breath of Spring Corporate Tulip Campaign will take place February 22nd and 23rd.  During this time, volunteers will be delivering beautiful fresh cut tulips to businesses that have placed an order.   Last year's campaign raised over $30,000 to help people with lung disease.  This year tulips are $6.50 for a bunch of 5 tulips.  We encourage businesses to place their orders before the deadline on February 11, 2005.

This program requires many volunteers to help the Lung Association deliver the tulips. We are asking people to donate a few hours to help us out.  This is a fun volunteer opportunity as all the orders are pre-paid, so it's simply a matter of following a well laid out, assigned route and delivering beautiful tulips to smiling receptionists!

Volunteers can select a morning or afternoon shift and will need to have their own vehicles.

All money raised will be used to further our mission of helping everyone to have healthy lungs.  For more information on how to volunteer or how to order your tulips, call Kelly at 343-9640 ext 233 in Saskatoon or Sharon at 352-2004 in Regina.
