Discovery Asthma Camp For Kids With Asthma
SASKATOON, May 31, 2005 -- In a recent study in Saskatchewan, 16-21% of children had Asthma. If you or someone you know has a child with asthma, consider sending them to camp this summer.

Discovery Asthma Camp, sponsored by the Lung Association of Saskatchewan, offers their camp so that children ages 7-13 with moderate to severe asthma can enjoy the unique experience of summer camp, in a safe setting made for fun and learning. Our Asthma Camp has been in existence for 16 years and provides Around the Clock Care from a medical team including a physician, nurses, physiotherapists and other health professionals. The quality of the medical component of the Camp has been recognized by the health care community nationally and internationally.
The ACT-Wilf Churchman Camp for Kids will be held at Hitchcock's Hideaway, situated along the shores of Lake Diefenbaker. Nestled inside one of Saskatchewan 's finest parkland sites, this picturesque meeting place is located 2 hours S.W. of Saskatoon & 2 1/2 hours N.W. of Regina. This year's camp runs July 5-9.
