Six treated in hospital

A thick fog of smoke sent six Winnipeggers to hospital with breathing problems and led many more to choke and cough at home.
Stan Stone, superintendent of Winnipeg Emergency Medical Services, said the calls came between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. yesterday, at the height of stubble burning in fields near the city.
