Brenda Donahue was fed up with incessant asthma attacks that left her gasping for air. Even though she took medications as directed by her doctor, her symptoms often seemed out of control.
So when she saw an ad in a local newspaper for volunteers to take part in a study of a non-drug treatment for asthma, she leaped at the opportunity.
