Lower Weight Equals Lower Symptom Burden in Asthma

Obese adult asthmatics were more likely to report poor asthma control, a history of asthma-related hospital admissions, and poor asthma-specific quality of life than asthma patients who were not overweight, reported David M. Mosen, Ph.D., M.P.H., of Kaiser Permanente's Center for Health Research, and colleagues in the September issue of the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
