Smoke from a wildfire in northern Montana could result in poor air quality today and into tomorrow for Saskatchewan residents!

We recommend everyone take measures to avoid the forest fire smoke as much as possible by staying indoors with air conditioners set on recirculation setting and reducing outdoor activities. We also are warning against burning of all materials.

If you have lung disease, please monitor your breathing. Those with asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) should take extra precaution and care.  Have your medication prescriptions up-to-date and filled.  Carry your rescue inhalers with you at all times.

Should your Asthma or COPD symptoms worsen, refer to your COPD Action Plan /Asthma Action Plan or visit your health care provider.
