Dr. George Ferguson Book Launch November 14th, 2014

Regina, November 12, 2014 - The Wood Fairies Christmas Deed by the late Dr. George Ferguson and illustrated by Liz Toohey-Wiese will be launched at the school which is his namesake, Dr. George Ferguson School.

Background:

The launch of this charming Christmas story is made possible thanks to the work of many and the support of the Lung Association of Saskatchewan. The event will include a reading of the short book and an illustrated video of the story.

Dr. George Fergusson, 1883 – 1964 was a pioneer in North America’s fight against tuberculosis and the introduction of free treatment. He served as Medical Director, and General Superintendent of the Saskatchewan Anti-Tuberculosis League Canada.
