The Lung Association of Saskatchewan and SaskEnergy Invite You to Win a Prize – Change a Life!

Saskatoon, April 29, 2014 - The Lung Association of Saskatchewan, in conjunction with their corporate partner, SaskEnergy, invites your support by purchasing your chance to win with the 2014 Share The Air Raffle (Lottery License #LR13-0095). Just imagine what you would do with the grand prize of up to $121,750 in tax-free cash!

A chance to win up to $121,750 is reason enough to purchase your tickets. But remember that your support will also change the lives of people that are affected by lung disease. Imagine watching your child or grandchild struggling for breath during an asthma attack. The good news is that with medication and proper education, the disease can be very well controlled and have a minimal effect on quality of life. The Lung Association provides important education programs and materials to help children and adults manage their asthma. That is just one example of how you, as a supporter of the raffle, can change lives.

The second and third prizes are the winners' choice of a tour package voucher for $5,500 or $5,000 cash. Marlin Travel is ready to help you plan the vacation of your dreams! Win a SaskEnergy Network Member gift certificate (6 at $1000 each) for the purchase of natural gas equipment and/or services at any SaskEnergy Network Member location in Saskatchewan.

Order your tickets on-line at www.raffle.sk.lung.ca. They are still only one for $35, two for $60, or (the best deal) four for $100.

Other prizes include:

  • 2 Sony 50" 1080P LED Smart TV or $1000 Cash
  • 7 Sony HTCT260 Speaker Bars
  • 11 Audiovox Foldable DJ Style Noise Isolating Headphones
  • 11 $200 VISA Gift Cards
  • 15 Acoustic Research Wireless Indoor Outdoor Bluetooth Speakers
  • 11 Audiovox Foldable DJ Style Bluetooth Noise Isolating Headphones
  • 10 Audiovox Bluetooth Speakers
  • 2 Yamaha AM/FM, CD, IPOD, USB, Bluetooth Shelf Systems
  • 10 Sony WIFI Blu-ray Players with Smart TV Apps

Plus get in on the 4-Pack Reward Prize! Purchase a 4-pack of tickets and be entered into a special draw for $1,004. That brings this year's prize board up to a retail value of $158,300 (taxes included)!

The number of people with lung disease is still on the rise – it claims the life of a Canadian every 13.5 minutes.

"One out of every three of our residents will be affected by lung disease during their lifetime," says The Lung Association of Saskatchewan's President and CEO, Brian Graham. "The Lung Association and SaskEnergy continue to work together on this fundraising initiative because improving lung health in Saskatchewan is an important goal shared by our organizations," he adds.

To purchase your 2014 Share The Air Raffle tickets, call our toll-free, 24-hour raffle hotline at 1-866-95LOTTO (1-866-955-6886) or 1-888-566-LUNG (5864) during regular office hours. Deadline for purchasing tickets is midnight on May 30. The draw will take place on Friday, June 6.

Breath is life. We can live a long time without food, a couple of days without water, but life without breath is measured in minutes. Something so essential deserves our attention!
