The Lung Association and London Drugs launched their 26th annual Fresh Air Photo Contest today, July 1, 2010.
2009 Photo Contest Winner by Hailey Nelson
The contest challenges photographers from across Western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba) to send in their best fresh air photo to win fabulous prizes.
This year’s contest will have only one overall contest category: ‘Fresh Air’. One Grand Prize will be awarded to the photo that best represents the theme. Prizes will also be awarded for photographs in second, third and fourth place.
Additionally, for the first time ever participants are invited to send in their best photo online at www.londondrugs.com/freshair.
Here are the prizes:
- Grand Prize: Canon T1-iS DSLR camera with 18-55 & 55-250 zoom lens & 270EX Speedlite (courtesy of Canon)
- Second Prize: Nikon Coolpix P-100 digital compact camera PLUS Nikon 10x36 Monarch binoculars (courtesy of Nikon)
- Third Prize: Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 digital compact camera PLUS Panasonic 8GB SD-HC memory card (courtesy of Panasonic)
- Fourth Prize: Fuji FinePix F80EXR digital compact camera (courtesy of Fuji)
All winners will also receive an Energizer Battery pack (courtesy of Energizer).
Photo entries are welcome until the deadline of August 15, 2010. For contest and photo submission details, please review the official entry form or visit any London Drugs store across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Entries will be judged on originality and overall photographic quality. Contest winners will be notified by mail by September 15, 2010.
