Chronic lung disease on the rise in women

More Canadian women die of chronic obstructive lung disease than of breast cancer each year, the numbers are rising, yet scientists are worried that there still isn't enough screening for the condition.

Doctors have seen a 50 per cent jump in the number of women hospitalized, and a doubling of their rate of death.
