The ban on smoking in restaurants, bars, bingo and billiard halls, private clubs, bowling alleys and the Emerald Casino took effect July 1.
In the two weeks since then, Saskatoon Health Region inspectors have visited about 340 affected businesses, finding mass compliance among proprietors, said Karen Grauer, manager of the health region's healthy lifestyles department.
