Health official targets private workplaces

The Saskatoon Health Region wants the province to go 100 per cent smoke-free by stopping workers from puffing inside privately owned workplaces.
Although public spaces in the province, including bars, restaurants and bingo halls, went smoke-free in January, Saskatoon medical health officer Dr. Cory Neudorf says about 40 per cent of privately owned businesses still allow smoking in some parts of their establishments.
