AUGUSTA, Ga., Nov. 22 -- For overweight children, a daily dose of vigorous exercise may help reduce or eliminate snoring and other breathing problems of sleep, researchers said.
After about three months of daily aerobic exercise in an after-school program, sleep-disordered breathing scores improved significantly and occurrence rates were cut in half, said Catherine L. Davis, Ph.D., of the Medical College of Georgia here, and colleagues, in the November issue of Obesity.
