The British Columbia government introduced measures Wednesday requiring all older commercial diesel trucks to install particle-trapping filters to reduce vehicle emissions.
Scott McDonald, executive director of the B.C. Lung Association, said requiring owners of older diesel trucks to retrofit their vehicles is a step forward in cutting down air pollution.
