Colleen McMahon

Chair

Colleen is a champion of meaningful citizen engagement and collaboration as the heart of how governments can meet citizen needs and their expectations of government while working toward transformation in public services. She currently is a strategic advisor in the Government of Saskatchewan focusing on public consultation and engagement and advancing open data. Before joining government, she worked for almost a decade in Crown corporations and the private sector in various marketing and communications roles for more customer-centred service development and delivery, greater efficiency and cost-savings. Colleen is proud to be a public servant and is passionate about work, learning about people, and motivating and coaching others.

Colleen currently serves on the IAP2 Canada (International Association of Public Participation) Prairies Chapter Board of Directors.  She holds a Master of Science in Market Research as well as Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of Saskatchewan. She also completed the Public Relations Certificate Program at the University of Regina.
